ABOUT STACY-LEE

Hello my name is Stacy-Lee Ashmeade, but you can call me Stacy.

Stacy started her work in the Occupational Therapy field. Stacy is an experienced social worker for 15+ years with work experience in Canada and the United States. Stacy obtained her Bachelor of Social Work from Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama and received her Masters of Social Work from the University of Waterloo. Stacy focuses on holistic care by using patient-focused, strength-based, mindfulness, trauma-focused approaches by focusing on culture and the over well-being of the individual. Stacy is certified in Cultural Adaptive Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in Black Canadians.   

Stacy has experience working with individuals, couples and groups who need tools to help support self-care, personal goals, self-esteem, relationships, parenting, grief, anxiety, depression, and challenges to communication with family or medical providers. I work with children, youth and adults. 

Stacy believes everyone needs support for their voices to be heard to help improve their overall health.
