"The greatest discovery of my generation is that human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of mind"
Do you feel overwhelmed? Are you constantly worrying about what you have to do next? Are you having difficulties believing in yourself? Do you feel like you are stuck in life? Or perhaps you're down or anxious. Maybe, you're unsure about the future of a relationship, or just feel that you aren't living the life you were meant to lead. One Peace Therapy has found that these are common concerns that clients experience before accessing psychotherapy.
Whatever your needs may be, we are here to offer support. Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery. In your sessions, we promote emotional, cognitive, and behavioral transformation by encouraging a strength-based outlook and the adoption of new attitudes, understanding, and coping mechanisms.

After healing comes integration.
My interest in psychotherapy began while working as a Physiotherapist Assistant. Within that position, I recognized how much an individual’s mental health impacts their physical health and overall well-being.
With this background experience and knowledge, it deepened my understanding of the significance of holistic care. I was in pursuant to create a practice that embodies my values and beliefs of how to support persons with mental health concerns. Thus, One Peace Therapy opened in September 2020!
YOUR THERAPY JOURNEY
Personalized Attention For Your Mental Health
Seeing a therapist for the first time can be very overwhelming. This is okay and quite normal for a first visit.
The initial appointment is all about getting to know you and your concerns. I'll be gathering information to better understand what brings you into therapy and how I can best support you. No two clients are the same; getting to know you and building a relationship is crucial and will be an ongoing process. This foundation will make for a smoother transition when we get deeper into what brought you to therapy. Nonetheless, I encourage clients to share what they choose to and feel comfortable with.
Follow ups are usually a continuation from the previous session and if homework was given, we check-in about the progress of the task. However, this is a flexible structure as there are many things that can up in life and change the flow of sessions.
Ultimately, this is your session - you choose how you would like it to go and I will meet you where you are at and follow your pace.
