About Ashley
Ashley Ahn (She/Her)| HBSc. in Progress
Social Media Marketer
Hi there, my name is Ashley Ahn. I appreciate you taking a moment to learn more about me!
I am currently a third-year student at the University of Toronto, pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bioethics. My academic interests are centred around mental health, counselling, and understanding how social and ethical factors shape individual well-being.
Alongside my studies, I have gained diverse experience working in people-centred environments, where I have developed strong interpersonal and communication skills. Whether working as a barista, sales representative, or tutor, I have consistently been in roles that require adaptability, empathy, and the ability to connect with a wide range of individuals. I also founded my own tutoring service, where I supported second-language learners through personalized, one-on-one instruction, helping build both confidence and communication skills.
Beyond my professional experience, I am actively involved in community and outreach initiatives. Through my role as Outreach Chair at HanVoice Canada and my volunteer work with youth and international communities, I have developed a strong passion for advocacy, education, and meaningful social impact. My experience working with diverse populations has strengthened my commitment to supporting others with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and care.
I am particularly passionate about mental health and hope to pursue a future in counselling, where I can support individuals in building resilience, navigating challenges, and fostering a sense of well-being. I believe that empathy, trust, and genuine human connection are at the core of meaningful support, and I strive to bring these values into everything I do.
As part of the social media team, I enjoy expressing creativity through digital content. I value the power of social media as a tool for connection, awareness, and storytelling, and I am excited to contribute to sharing messages that promote mental health, community, and holistic well-being.
