About Brianna
Brianna Blake (She/Her)| B.A. (Hons.) In Psych
Senior Social Media Coordinator
Hello, my name is Brianna Blake. Thank you for taking a moment to learn more about me!
I am the Senior Social Media Coordinator here at One Peace Therapy, and a psychology graduate with a
strong interest in mental health, trauma, and client-centred care. My early experiences working in
healthcare settings sparked a broader curiosity about well-being, which eventually led me to pursue
psychology and shift my focus toward mental health support.
I completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology at York University, where I developed a
particular interest in culturally-competent, trauma-informed counselling psychology. Throughout my
academic and volunteer experiences, I have grown deeply interested in understanding trauma and
supporting individuals as they navigate complex emotional and psychological challenges. This
commitment is reflected in my volunteer work within Humber River Health’s Mental Health Unit, the
Catholic Family Services of Toronto, as well as my past experience in mentoring students.
I aspire to continue my professional journey by pursuing a master’s degree in psychotherapy in the near
future, with the goal of becoming a registered psychotherapist. I am especially drawn to BIPOC and
trauma-relevant approaches that prioritize safety, empathy, and empowerment. This alignment is a big
part of why I love being at One Peace Therapy, where these values are not only discussed but actively
practiced.
I am fluent in both English and French and hold certifications in Psychological First Aid, WHMIS Safety,
CPR & AED, and Worker Health & Safety Awareness, among others. In my role as Senior Social Media
Coordinator, I enjoy using my background in psychology to help shape trauma-informed, culturally
responsive content that supports community connection and holistic wellness awareness.
