About Brianna

Brianna Dawkins (She/Her)| MP, RP (Qualifying)

Couples and Family Specialty and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Hi, I’m Brianna, and I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about me!

People often come to therapy carrying questions they can’t yet name or experiences that feel too heavy to sort through alone. As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I strive to offer a space where these experiences can be explored with warmth, curiosity, and care. I am guided by the belief that healing happens in relationship: with ourselves, with others, and with the stories we carry. I believe that every person possesses the inherent strength and insight needed to navigate their unique journey, and therapy serves as a way to compassionately witness and tend to the parts of our lives that may have been overlooked or misunderstood.

My approach is grounded in collaboration and draws on integrative practices tailored to each individual. Informed by a systemic and relational lens, I pay attention not only to your inner world but also to the social, cultural, and historical contexts that shape your identity. I seek to create a space built upon trust, humility, and authenticity—one that inspires safety through connection. Whether you are moving through anxiety, grief, anger, relationship struggles, or simply a sense of being stuck, I will meet you where you are with an attuned presence. Together, we can explore what it means to move through the world as you, defining what healing and growth look like on your own terms.

My therapeutic work is supported by a Master of Psychotherapy from the University of Guelph and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University. With a background as an educational clinician, I have a long-standing fascination with the weight of words and how we use language to make meaning of our lives. Outside of the clinic, I find my balance in the outdoors and through travel, finding nourishment in different cultures and landscapes. I also deeply value the simple joys; the perfect day trifecta: a sweet treat, an old film, and quality time with those I love.

Whatever brings you here today, I honor the courage it takes to reach out and I look forward to supporting you as you find your way forward.
